Great news, sounds like he's sorted things out in his personal life and is all set for action. A player of his quality is badly missed.

We don't have many players of his quality, so great news he's coming back.

It really sounds like there was a definite problem with Stan & Co, especially the way he indicated that they "need someone like trap to get it out of them and get them playing"

Delighted, think he is a genuine prospect for the future. He's good now, but i think he'll improve even more. This stint away might even make him hungrier. Heres hoping anyway.

    This is bad news.

Stephen Ireland let his country badly down last September. His reasons/lies given were disgraceful. He has continued to not co-operate with the Irish squad/management since then. If he's selected, it condones his behaviour, and gives any other player in the squad the option to do the same in the future. "Sure, he'll always be welcomed back".

A tough line must be taken on this, and he must be made an example of. I don't want him to play in a green shirt again.

Do you reckon there's some Italians over there with a granny hiding away in the closet that Trap could pull out of nowhere???

Anyone can make a mistake. He is a young fella and obviously he was havin a tough time. Don Givens handled the situation badly in my opinion as he has with several other young players.

We are not in a position to turn down a player of his ability.

With a new manager, its a clean slate for everyone, if he acts the b**** with Trappatoni, I have no doubt he will be dealt with.
