Its the question that has been asked many times in the last few seasons but I have to say I am feeling really good about us scoring goals this year

Torres: Even if he has a tough first year his class will almost guarantee 15 goals easily

Kuyt: Second year knowing more about the league I would count on him for another 15

Crouch: Dependant on how many games he starts he should give a healthy return of goals.

Voronin: Bit of an unknown but defences will be watching out for Torres so he may have a chance to catch them unawares

Gerrard: Poor goal return last year compared to the year before, with Kuyt and Torres occupying the defenders this year he should have more space

Babel: Another one who given the opportunity to play will score goals, it will be interesting to see how many games he plays

Kewell: Please Harry, a full season!!!

Loads of goals in this squad I think for the new season and with Pennant supplying the crosses and Masch/Alonso/Sissoko gaining and keeping possession I honestly feel we have a title winning attack and midfield!!

I know it;s been said countless times but if Kewell is really 100% injury free and stays that way, he should get his fair share. the only time he's been fully fit while he was here was pre xmas in his first season and I;m pretty sure he scored something like 12 goals. Rafa obviously rates him very highly and if fit, he will get plently of pitch time

I think we will win the title if Harry has a fully fit season, I actually think he is that important!!

I am the eternal optimist though, I have been thinking we would win the title every year for the last few years.... and then march rolls around and we are no where near :(

As the eternal optimist I usually wait until it is mathematically impossible :)

kyut crouch gerrard alonso would be 1s who i would pick to score a few but also from i think torres if we get beniyoum he,ll get a few also i would think pennant and kewell might get a few . the main thing is to have ur strikers scoreing last season and the year before that the forwards were a bit slack getting goals

I know I've said, albeit in a state of euphoria, that I thought Torres would get 20 league goals. Now that the dust has settled, maybe 15-18 is more realistic. Maybe Kuyt will pitch in with more, Stevie G is always goog for a few, especially if he plays in a slightly more advanced role. As bmac said, Crouch's contribution depends on how many games he is given, starting, but I suspect he will have a very good return .

    Exciting times indeed.

I think Kuyts return will improve vastly this season.

I agree with FinnanNo3 that Kuyt could have a very good return next season (if he gets the games), he'll prob be better adjusted and all that. Think Drogba scored similar amount of goals in his 1st season.
