Yeah snooker tournament tickets are hard to buy over here. When I was looking for them one time they were selling them from a furniture shop near where I live which I thought was really strange! I think it depends on where the event is being held.

I must have played with most of the top snooker players at some stage over the last 5 yeas.

A good Cascarino story I heard in a card club in Dublin.

One of the lads at the table was telling us one night he was just back from a poker cruse of the Caribbean he won, nice prize. The lad is big into his football and goes to alot of Ireland away game. While he was on this cruse Ireland were due to play a big game, for the life of me I cant remember which one.

Anyway the game would have been over about an hour so he headed off to try and find a Internet connection so he could find out the score. On his way he sees Cascarino playing at one of the tables so he heads over and asks tony "sorry Tony but did you here the result of the Ireland game...?'

    To which Cascarino replys...

'No sorry mate but England won 2:0...'

I used to go to Goffs final night, evening session every year and got the tickets through a mate but I am 90% certain that the bigger snooker shops in Dublin sell a certain amount of tickets. If you want to go to an earlier round, you can buy them at the venue.
