You are going to be stranded on a desert island, with a cd player, a crate of batteries, and the choice of ten albums to bring with you. What are the ten albums?

For me, I'm going to be listening to the following so stay off my patch of beach.:D

1: Anthrax - The Sound Of White Noise
2: Pearl Jam - Lost Dogs
3: Vivaldi - The Four Seasons (Scottish Chamber Orchestra version)
4: Porcupine Tree - Fear Of A Blank Planet
5: Nelly Furtado - Folklore
6: Bad Religion - The Grey Race
7: Bruce Springsteen - Live 1975 - 1985
8: Thin Lizzy - Live And Dangerous
9: Ministry - Pslams
10: Iron Maiden - Killers

Of course I could have a different ten if asked tomorrow.:p

I'd want a mix of hip hop, house and easy listening so anything by...

1. Tupac
2. Eminem
3. Jack Johnson
4. Artic Monkeys
5. Laurent Garnier
6. Ian Browne
7. The Doors
8. The Beatles

...should keep me happy. I've been listening to Counting Crows album recently - forgot how good they are they're underrated. Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Johnny Cash, Elvis, John Lennon, Elton John & Frank Sinatra are all golden oldies that I enjoy. Republic of Loose and The Blizzards are two good Irish bands. Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Maroon5, Franz Ferdinand are all good too.

...and of course WESTLIFE jokin'!

yeah a few survival cd would be handy, a "do your own black magic/vodoo" cd would be fun, a cd on how to tap into those unused resources in your mind like how to fly etc. youd need a yoga cd in there i suppose to stop you losing the plot.

One one those self distructing cds if you had enough of it all.

in no particular order and off the top of my head.
REM : Automatic for the people
Nirvana : Nevermind
Radiohead : The bends
The Stone Roses : Stone roses
The Pixes : Surfer rosa
Tom Mcrae : Tom Mcrae
The smiths : The queen is dead
