Who is our biggest danger to the 4th spot? I have to say i think this Villa side are a fine side Everton should be stronger in the next week or two and are a serious danger but for me i woul;d nearly say Villa, we need a draw tomorrow at least.

Keep your responses on topic lads !

I think the only thing that will be bothering those two clubs in a few weeks will be a battle for 5th spot.

Think its a close call, blues are probably slightly better but villa are coming on strong.
If everton lost cahill they would be mid table, villa prob have an all round better team.

I think Villa will be the big dangers, Everton have the distraction of the Uefa Cup.

With trips to White Hart Lane, Emirates and Old Trafford, can't say I am overly optimistic

Think everton possess the greater threat for 4th spot. Liverpool need to start raising their game soon otherwise champions league football will not be played in anfield next season :(

Both of em are muck - both play very average football (carsley for christs sake) and even MON at villa, his team is all harem scarem stuff, pace and power but very little finesse, esp in midfield. Man city r better than both of them and if one of their strikers pulls up the socks they'd b our biggest rivals for 4th ( i hate that, rivals for 4th). We, on paper, should have too much quality to b dragged into a battle with em - think we'll nick 4th ok.

It's terrible to be talking about 4th place again, but it should be ours.

Neither Villa or Everton are great, both solid enough but nothing special. Villa are poor without Young as shown against Fulham recently and hopefully this Yakubu saga will cause Everton some grief.

    Look at the run-in...

Everton (47 points), have a few tricky away games, and have yet to play us + Arsenal away, and Chelski at home. Tough run-in, has to be said.

Villa (44 points), can be expected to win their remaining home games, but some very tricky away games as well, Arse, scum, WHam, Pompey, Everton.

Liverpool (44 points, game in hand). Aside from the scum/arse games we have a fairly easy run-in TBH. We NEED to get the points on the board in next few weeks! last 3 away games are tricky - Birmingham/Fulham/Spurs, 2 fighting to stay up and spurs are a different prospect to earlier in season.

We have the easiest run-in and have only ourselves to blame if we don't get 4th.

See everton as the biggest threat. Villa will struggle to get much out of their remaining away fixtures.

Yet man city have an easy-ish run-in, and esp after taking 3 points off the scum are a big, big danger.

The may 3 game could yet be a decider for 4th.

They all look rubbish in fairness, any bit of improvement in our home form and we should finish above these easy. I mean we can't play much worse than recent and we still go fourth if we win game in hand.
Biggest danger will probably be Everton because we are their biggest motivation.
