    I am going to start writing my thesis for college pretty soon.

    But was wondering is there a certain font size and type I should be using? or what would look good rather than the usual one word throws up.

    I think it should be as per exam regulations which should be somewhere on your college's website...

    Speak to your tutor if you are in any doubt.

    Joe is right, any course requiring a thesis will have regulations as to the submission requirements.
