I see there is talk of him getting a new deal at Everton, as United and Arsenal are sniffing around him.

I think he would be a great signing for us

    1. He is a good central defender

    2. He is a good LB (We need one of those IMO)

    3. He scores goals from defence (7 this season)

    4. It would piss of every Everton supporter :D:D

What you think, if the other big guns are in for him, so should we!!!

4 all the above reasons he'd be a good signing but we'd have 4 CBs then - but really i cant c it happen. Couldve got him for 5m a few yrs ago but werent in 4 him

Wish I bought him for my fantasy team. Very good player and proof that if you scout players in the lower leagues you will find the odd gem.

Remember the days you could but houghton and aldridge fom oxford, rushie from chester and lawro from prestion. Sad such coups are so uncommon now.

Fair play to Moyes tho. Lescott from Wolves, Cahill from Millwall, and Jagielka form Sheff Utd (ok they were a premiership team last year) .

its difficult 4 a red to give moyes the dullard any credit - but he sure does get value 4 money in the transfer market - getting rid of shrek to utd was a great move coz he's spent the money well. Shrewd guy in the market. 2m on cahill i reckon is the best pound 4 pound acquisition in the past 5 or 6 seasons

Getting 5.5 or 6 million for that McFadden was the best bit of business done this year or in many the year to be fair.

Is this a Lescott thread or appreciation thread for the gargoyle.

Anyway on a more serious note, anyone think Lescott looks a bit like Lt. Warf out of Star Trek the next generation? :D

Can't see them selling him, to be honest.
Would be a good addition to squad.
