Our next league match and honestly I can't call it. West ham arent a good side, been inconsistent at home ranging from been beaten by a 10 man reading side to beating man utd. Like most matches I think its how we play as a team that will determine the out come. tough to call.. arh
The way our form has been, it's nearly impossible to call it. With Torres, Gerrard and Carra getting a 'rest' we should be able to get a result.......heres hoping!!

Difficult game, West Ham are hard to read. If they have a full team, they will cause trouble, Ljundberg, Ashton, Bellamy etc.... Reina, Arbeloa, Hyppia, Carra, Aureolio, Pennant, Gerrard, Alonso, Benayoun, Babel, Torres. The Scum and Pompey is on Sky, will the Liverpool match be on in the TRAM???
alan wiley is the ref for this one. This will be the fourth time this season he has referee'd us, and we have won the previous three (1st September 2007 - Derby County, 24th November 2007 - Newcastle and 26th Dec - Derby County) scoring eleven goals and only conceding one. Let's hope that run continues as id expect to see Steven Gerrard, Jose Reina, Jamie Carragher, Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso back in the starting 11 for this one.

First trip to London, and the last team we haven't played. Won there last season, which brought us briefly, to within 8 points of the leaders. Much has changed in the meantime.

I am sad to say but I can see a 2-1 defeat. Team Rafa will pick Reina, Arbeloa, Hyppia, Carragher, Aureolio Benayoun, Lucas, Gerrard, Alonso, Riise, Torres Ashton and Noble for Hammers in first half, Green to save a peno from Gerrard and Kuyt with late consulation for us... Man I am depressed when I am predicting us to lose
Again picking the team is a lottery - my guess is Reina, Finnan, Hyppia, Carra, Aurelio, Pennant. Stevei G, Alonso, Kewell, Kuyt and Torres with crouch, lucas, babel and skertl on the bench - since Yossi played the whole game v H&W and scored a hattrick i suspect he wont b in the squad...only kidding!! I actually think we'll win this one - West Ham v inconsistent. Fancy Torres for a brace in a 2-0 win. Dont ask where this unfounded optimism stems from - ive no idea!
