just got back from it,xxxxxx great Game!
was anyone Watching it on TV?
fair Play to Carlow, everyone thought they were going to Tire at the end but if anything they finished the stronger Team.and when Dublin started the rough stuff they stood up to it.i know i'm a Dub but you couldn't fail to be impressed by Carlow....
looking forward to the Replay already.

Sounds like a cracking game. Carlow have shown in the last two championships that they are a side to be respected and reckoned with, and this result tonight will to wonders for their confidence. I would have expected the Dubs to win this comfortably though.

What kind of team did ye have out tonight Avid? Is this a blip during pre-season training, a major worry for ye, or have we really got a decent team who can challenge ye for the Leinster title in 2008 on our hands?

in fairness that was the first Real test they've had this Season.they're Training pretty hard at the moment and it showed last Night.i heared Carlow have been back Training sice before Xmas, certainly looked that way last Night.
there was only around half of last Year's Champo Team in the Panel last Night so plenty still to come in.
Defending would be a worry after last Night, might not be sorted in time for the League but i'd expect it to be Ironed out by May/June...
obviously i'm going to say i expect Dublin to claim another Leinster at the very least.the Panel is no weaker than it was last Year and if some of these young Lads make the step up in can only get stronger.
i can see Carlow causing a few upsets this Summer;)

I can't believe I missed this one...it was only up the road, less than 5mins! It must have been a sudden change from Parnell Park...

Ha did Declan Lally play ??
I think hes brutal, only because we have him as a sub teacher sometimes hehe...

This is why we need the mighty Senno Connell back !!
Ill put some pressure on him to come out of retirement in school lol !

I was at the game my self quite cold but was a very interesting game..Good to get tough games like that under your belt..I got home and watched the repeat yesterday on Setanta senan Connell is the worst commentator i've ever heard bar non

Dublin have impressed me of late Cullen bernard Brogan and Eamon fennell especilly.

eamon, a good friend of mine has been a rock this time round and is sure to be in the championship side this year following is dropping in recent seasons.

another cracker down in the Neller last Night,Dublin scored 2 Goals in Injury Time to Win it by a Point.i Heared someone Saying it was the biggest Blag on the Northside of Dublin since that Brinks Job that was done a few Years ago:D
the Longford Lads must've been xxxxxx sick!
that's Twice now the Dubs have snatched Victory from the Jaws of Defeat,if they can keep that up in the Summer this could be their Year...

Man that was so disappointing , a piece of deserved silverware for my native Longford would have spoiled.
Still fair play to little Jayo.
Sometimes theres nothing worse than a 2 point lead.
I experienced it myself in an Intermediate final as a 17 year old.
    Heartbreaking stuff.

If Longford can repeat their performance of last night in the League (they bummed out last week against Wexford), we could fight for promotion, and then on into Leinster.
We would beat near neighbours Westmeath anyway, and am not sayin we'd take on the Dubs the same way in the Championship in Croker, but we'd make a good fight of it.
