    monday night game.
sadly enough this is a 6-pointer for the last CL place, so a must-win.
villa are especially dangerous on the break and at set-pieces, finnan and arbeloa/aurelio have to be on their game to keep agbonlahor and young quiet (can we please recruit one of these two??)
don't concede from set pieces and we're halfway to a win.

    2-0

The Zonal marking will be tested in this. Laursen, Mellbery and Carew have scored a lot of goals from set pieces.

We need an early goal, I reckon 2-0, Torres and Crouch

Reina, Finnan, Carragher, Hyppia, Aurelio (If fit), Pennant, Alonso, Gerrard, Babel, Crouch, Torres.

With Havant & Waterlooville coming up on Saturday I'd be expecting Rafa to unleash the best eleven available to him. Torres and Crouch up front, Gerrard and Alonso in the middle, with JP and Babel supplying plenty ammunition. Gonna go out on a limb and predict a 3-0 win for the Reds.

The squad for the game is (according to BBC Sport)

Reina, Finnan, Arbeloa, Carragher, Skrtel, Hyypia, Riise, Aurelio, Pennant, Kewell, Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano, Babel, Benayoun, Kuyt, Torres, Voronin, Crouch, Itandje, Lucas.

I reckon it might be Reina, Finnan, Carra, Hyppia, Aurelio, Kewell, Benayoun, Mascherano, Gerrard, Torres, Crouch

I'll Fantasy Rafa this and probably be a few off as normal...........

As a question, is there an IrishKop.com league in Fantasy Rafa (www.fantasyrafa.com) league?

Let the Americans know they're not wanted!

I reckon the Liverpool fans are gonna let their feelings be known at tomorrow nights game.

Want to hear your ideas for songs/chants to direct at the Yanks, if you have any?

It will be a tough game, O'Neill is organising Villa very well.

Id take any kind of a win against them at the moment.

i've seen all sorts over the last few Days.i personally wouldn't be in to any Anti-American/Anti-Yank Songs.
    this is my favourite
    "they don't care about Rafa,
    they don't care about Fans,
    Liverpool Football Club
    is in the wrong Hands."

    seen some great Banners too.
one has the 2 Oul Fellas off the Muppet Show on it with one DIC is better than a Pair of Tits
and another has if it's not broke don't Hicks it

It will be some atmosphere!!! I'll be watching all the pre-match stuff and I think all of us not there would love to hear back fromk anyone at the match about the atmosphere..

To the match itself, saw on Sky Sports News that Garreth Barry is a doubt........hopefully this isn't the usual pre-match stuff.

Fancy us for a 2-1........if we don't.........it will be a struggle to get 4th.

Villa to score from a set piece......

Sould be a good match tonight. You could really see and hear the crowd getting behind Rafa for the last 2 matches. It's building up nicely.
    I reckon 3-1
What time does coverage start at? It would be good to see the build up

Fat Pat only gets a gig for the 3pm matches that are only available to Irish viewers.

It will two of McManaman, Ferdinard and Sherwood.
