    Hi

I'm amazed by this, for ages no one has apparently made an offer to Robbie ... now, eventually Cardiff make an offer (not even a Premiership team !)

    See HERE for news article

I really don't think he's become too weak for the Premiership, do you ?

    - Also, given the fact that LFC are still covering his every move, shows they know they need to ensure Robbie is looked after, otherwise many fans will be seriously ticked off with LFC (especially, given this is the second time he's departed from the club etc)

Would have liked to see him go north to Rangers/Celtic, he would rack up cricket scores up there.

Do you think he could have given us one more year? I would have liked him to stay, even if it was only cameo-roles. TBH anytime we brought him on late on there was always a buzz from the crowd and with good reason.

he was Head and Shoulders above anyone else in his Day.used to love hearing People who were older than me (Lpool and non Lpool Fans) raving about him.
in my opinion the greatest Lpool Player never to get a League Winners Medal.

I'm baffled by this, one of the Prem's greates ever goalscorers at 32 available on a free and there isn't a line a mile long outside Rafa's office looking to take him.

This is a guy who Ian Rush called his 'son', the fans called God and who was the finest goalscoring predator of his generation.

The likes of Derby, Sunderland, Fulham, Portsmouth, Boro, indeed anyone outside of the top 5 or 6 must have some serious confidence in their strike resources for next season.

Surprised P'mouth have not come in for him...as I'm sure Jamie has been raving to his dad about him

Yea, lets take him back again, pay as you play.
    He'd be delighted and all.

    Hi mate

While I'd love to give him another year at Anfield, sadly it's clear Rafa has made his mind up ..... a shame, as this is definitely a hot chestnut with us fans me thinks.

As for paying him week to week, I think that would sadly only add insult to injury here ... but if they can justify giving Sisoko an extended contract, retain Kewell to date despite all his "injuries" etc then we must be able to justify signing Robbie for at least one more year, maybe a part player part training role or something ?

Anywhere but Rangers, I could not stand all the Celtic heads going on about him. I think robbie should hang up his boots at the top. He has enough money. He was really of the pace in a lot of matches last season, it would be a shame to watch him fizzle out down the league like some other players. Like Bergkamp, Cantona, he should bow out now

Yeah, would love to see Robbie banging in bucketloads in Scotland, collecting a few trophies before he calls it a day.
Total Legend, Gone but will never be forgotten!
