With all the tripe being banded out today, its easy to forget we actually have a game tomorrow night. Should be a formality really.

On a side note to the game, Carragher will be captaining the side on his 500th appearance for the club.

If the players have the right attitude we should really be looking for a backlash in this game, with poor Luton as the whipping boys. Let's get a bit of confidence back and put a bit of light between ourselves and Villa then on Monday night! Come on you reds!!!

 

Its nice to see Carra as Captain he will get the players fired up unlike Steven "I'm too good to play on the wing me" Gerrard

Obviously not world class opposition, however job done. Babel looked good down the middle. His crossing from the wings left a lot to be desired.

The way it should be as we all expect.

 

Crowd sounds in good voice from what I can hear, plenty of Rafa chants and of course plenty of Gerrard chants. Plenty to keep them singing.

Itandje - clean sheet well done.
Carra - 5-0 on his 500th.
Hyypia - scored well done.
Babel - played well (after starting!) his goal changed the game.
Gerrard - involved in the opener and hatrick well done lad.
Pennant - not bad, put in a few crosses.
Alonso - tried to repeat his half way line goal, sign of confidence?
Crouch - couple of good knock downs.
Torres - assist for Babel

Phew, coming to half time the game looked not much different to the Away fixture...not keeping posession enough which was giving them hope. The 1st goal killed them and settled the Reds. Finally a win even if it is Luton!
