    Hi mate

No promises, but I'll keep the ear to the ground - the auction for those with Leinster Tickets is due to be announced soon, might throw something up.

Unusual game to be after tickets for - without being disrespectful to the Italians, might be easier to get tickets for this one than say, Scotland.

Ask around at any of the local rugby clubs, or anyone you know in local clubs, as they tend to get an allocation for each of the matches.

Eh, Belvadere, Clontarf etc ? ;)

Mind you, from the looks of the areas you've just named, it seems to me your more in GAA country than Rugbyland ;)

I'd imagine this will be like last years all ireland hurling final, they'll be loads of tickets doing the round at face value outside the ground.

Not a rugger-head myself, but I know that Italy are to rugby what Holland are to Cricket.

It's not often that we're favourites to beat Italians in anything, but the only question here, is what will the Irish winning margin be?

I'd say you're not a cricket head either if you're comparing Italian Rugby to Dutch cricket

Paul is right Mypost, the Italians are not the whipping boys they once were at this eggball stuff.

If I was having a punt on this I'd be looking at the handicap for a narrow win for the Italians on say +3 to +7 range.

Remember they should have one the match before the WC only for a very suspect refereeing decision.

And they did almost get out of the group in the world cup. We will beat them, but it might be like 2 years ago (when we were haunted to beat them.

i wouldnt be so confident of beating them - that midget o'sullivan has as per usual made the wrong call in vital areas. i'm a munsterman to the bone so i'll try to b as impartial as possible.
Firstly picking the two token ulster players purely for political PR is a joke - trimble's crap on the wing and very suspect defensively so will b targeted at every opportunity ala the french in the RWC. Simon Best has been average this season at best yet Jackman has been superb (and yes i know he's a leinster boy) and is overlooked. V bad decisions.
Secondly picking Easterby ahead of either heaslip or Quinlan is unforgivable - the guy hasnt had a good game in 2 years at least - Quinlan's one of the best backrows in the HC even when half fit.
Thirdly, reddan over stringer is debatable - as we know the assistant coach Brian O'Driscoll hates Stringer so this may b just to appease his highness The Coiffured One.
The three quarter line's a mess - Darcy poor all season, murphy on the wing for christs sake and no sign of Carney or Luke Fitzgerald.
The Italians wil really fancy their chances - the team selections are based on 'jobs for the boys' and gratuitous favouritism. That stupid pygmy wrecks my head.

and should have beaten us at ravenhill just prior to the RWC, would have only 4 an absolutely scandalous decision by the TMO on the ROG try - were well better than us at that stage and we havent improved one bit since that time. As Stan would say "a potential banana skin " this one
