Ok just starting this thread for anyone to post their bets / tips solely related to Liverpool.

At the minute, focus is on the next manager prices. I layed Martinez last night at slight odds on. If any news comes out regarding anyone else getting interviewed / interested, they'll go odds on too and they'll be layed. Learned my lesson after the last Ireland vacancy. The amount of people that went heavy odds on after rumours etc. There was alot of money to made. Anyway could go tits up if Martinez gets appointed quickly but thats the risk I guess.

Even Rafa last night at one point went to 19/1, this morning was back to about 8s and is now trading at 11/1. Definately money to be made

    thoughts.?

Hi Daz,like you,im dabbling in the market also, also layed Martinez.
Will be backing Rodgers, not because i think he will get it..but he may well be interviewed..couple that with the inevitable rumours and hysterics..then his price will tumble.Hopefuly trade out then.

AVB @ 9/2 what you think? if LFC interview him..id say he will hit evens..just an opinion.. might be wrong, but im backing him also, again with a view to trade out.

If the club are going to interview 5-6 then theres money to be made..
Cant see the club not talking to Rafa..as you say money to be made if they talk to him.

Have also been keeping an eye on Capello and Deschamps in the market.

yeah once any rumours come out on anyone being interviewed, being sounded out, saying they're interested etc., prices will tumble. Hope you hadn;t gotten around to backing rodgers as his price just drifted like crazy in the last few mins

I can't believe some of the comments in this thread. Kenny is only gone from his job for not even two days and some people are looking to profit from his sacking. Shows a complete lack of respect (Smiley face, I can't seem to insert smiley faces for some reason). :):):):):):):)

Martinez is a lay at odds on I would say. Could be back to 3/1 when other rumors surface. Can easily be backed then and lock in a profit.

purely from a point of view of this market, reports that we are to interview 12 candidates would be top notch

Traded out with a small profit so far, mostly from AVB hitting around the even money mark. These new managers markets are always volatile with so many rumours flying about.
Intresting to see the gamble on Rodgers over the last few days..but see Martinez is now 4/6..while Rodgers has drifted a bit,out to the 11/4 mark.

Surprised to hear that! He was the name that stood out for me at the start of this but was also one I considered had no chance whatsoever of happening.

I'd be over the moon if we got him. But id also be absolutely shocked.

Not getting involved in the market myself but may be able to help point some of you in the direction. All the money taken in a big bookmaker this weekend was on Rodgers and it all came from his home town. There was zilch on Klopp and the odd decent bet on Martinez. After them nothing at all. The Klopp move seems to be coming from Betfair. There are no real trends with the betting other than Rodgers. The bets were all placed around the same time yesterday from the same area.

Laid Martinez at 1.5 last week, out to 3.0 at lunch time so backed him. Second time I have made a few quid on that situation already.
Paying for my euro 2012 bets.

I can add further to the Rodgers Betting. About two days ago, A Journo from BBC Northern Ireland, claimed she had reliable Info on Rodgers Being flown out to america to speak to JH. She has continued to stand by this statement that Rodgers will be the new manager.

Around 2.5 or 6/4 Gerry. Klopp was the one that money seemed to coming for this morning. The betting on betfair is all driven from newspapers and SSN speculation. The main stream bookies will also be using it to cover their own bets.

Laid Martinez at 1.8 and 1.43 on betfair, just traded out there now at 3.5.

Fair punt going on Rogers now, currently around 2.2 on Betfair. These manager markets are a layers dream.
