Last home game of the season and more than likely Dirk Kuyts final game at Anfield. Hope he gets the send off he deserves. I wouldn't imagine Chelsea will bring much of a following on Tuesday night but its a good chance for LFC to show the world why we are considered the best supporters in the world.

Im sure there will be changes made by both managers but I'd like to see us start a relatively strong side.

    -----------Reina----------
    Kelly Carra Agger Johnson
    Kuyt Gerrard Henderson Sterling
    -------Carroll Suarez------

Doesn't seem to be much interest in this fixture.

after the match saturday i felt like the season had ended, but im up for this now, hope we win our last two even though it wont change the fact its been a terrible league season, it would be nice to finish up on a bit of a high, for ourselves. not so much even to stop chelsea qualifying because after the way they beat barca i think their name is on the european cup this year anyway

Would love to hammer them cnuts 4-0 and stop them getting a cl spot, and hopefully Kuyt to bag one in front of the Kop.

Agree with this, ask the players to show some balls or speak to their agents.

I don't agree with the term 'nothing game' and that the season is over.Every game means something whether it's a pre season friendly or a big European tie. Some of our players owe us a big performance and the opportunity to show that they deserve their shirt for next season.

Ye I'm hoping for a fully commited performance from the players. With a bit of luck the Chelsea players don't really fancy it and we can give them a spanking.

Now that would make a lot of sense, mate ..... mind you, do you think the players will be up for it - personally, I fear some of them won't be.

Lets face it (& while I'm sorry to have to say this, it's regretfully true)... some of them have been less than "up for it" when it really mattered this season.

Kuyt has been an asset to LFC over the years and a top bloke. If this is his last game at Anfield, I hope it's a great night for him ... no more than he deserves, after all he's done for LFC over the years. A workhorse like Kuyt, capable of scoring important goals, won't be easily replaced, thats for sure.

No, be assured, this is a nothing game and the season is over!

The only thing we will get from the game is some individual pride after the worst possible season in every way. There are some who will see Anfield for the last time possibly Maxi, Aurelio, Kuyt and some who are playing for their futures. It would be good to see Carroll get a go and hopefully cement a place at the Euros. Sterling to get a run out and Coates and Shelvey included.

I suppose for all those reasons mentioned above it is not a nothing game but there are no prizes to be won for us. I would of course like to see Dalglish get his tactics right for once this season. Aaaarrrggghhhh!

Mushypea, gotta love your optimism. 36 games into the PL languishing in 9th with 13 loses, scored 43 goals all season, only 5 wins at home and all for over £100m investment.

I come on here after most games and often before and post and the reason is because I care about LFC. There are very few pluses to come out of this awful season, yes we made two cup finals but on the day failed to produce at either.

Dalglish has spent badly in the transfer market and tactically been found wanting way too often this season. Over the course of a season your league position is a good indicator. The Carling Cup is just not good enough to smooth over the cracks that have been evident since January for a club of this stature.

Time and patience is important and I have no doubt Dalglish will get this from the owners and the fans. But despite this really positive spin on it, the facts are we have been a mid table team this season and that hurts. Tonight, well, god only knows what we'll be served up at Anfield. Despite my glass being half empty in your eyes, I'll look forward to the game all day, relegate the missus to upstairs for Eastenders and the like and sweat and shout for the duration.

My thoughts and feelings on the issue will only be affected by the performance and result. Don't blame me for those! Anyway me glass is half full at this stage let's just hope when the game is finished it isn't half empty!!;)
