As the title says: Anyone from IK heading to this? If so how are ya's travelling? We're going over on the Sail n Rail, and staying near Heathrow. Can't wait for it, i'ts going to be some weekend. CL Final too.
heading over with or with out tickets taking car I think. Have loads of relations in London so accommodation will be cheap. Stena line are doinga special for the sail and railthat weekend if your doing that
i booked flights to gatwick and got tickets back in november for this.. leinister only getting 7,8000 tickets!!
Heading from Knock into Gatwick on Sat then back via Standsted on Sunday. Staying with mates, can't feckin wait. Guess I'm in the minority but C'mon Ulster!!! SUFTUM!!!
Finals are always the same...its fcuking insane but there seems to be plenty who bought tickets in hope of Leinster/Munster getting there. Have relations in London so will be no expense on accomadation, even more drink money so Leinster done so much to increase interest in the rest of Leinster these days
Myself and Paddser are going. I'm flying to Heathrow on the Friday afternoon and back Sunday afternoon.
i'm not to be honest,i'm not a D4 head! all i know is leinster are getting 7 or 8.000 tickets and they have 14 or 15,000 season ticket holders!!
I had numerous tickets in my basket during the Thomond Park quarter final but decided not to go once Munster were beaten. It should be a cracking game all the same and Twickers is one of the Worlds great stadiums.Shame it seems to take forever to get to from Central London.
sail and rail friday morning back sunday.should be great but i dont think the atmos wil be as good as in cardiff with the size of london been what it is
Flying into Gatwick, any idea what's the best route to take. Only me and the bro heading that route but might see if there are any other supporters on the flight and share a taxi
It's about 30 miles from Gatwick to Twickenham so it could work out quite expensive. There probably wouldn't be a problem getting a few more to cut the cost. Alternatively take the train to Clapham Junction, change there for Waterloo and you will be able to get a train from there to Richmond.
Aye if there are a few others will defo look at the taxi option. Just checking this out http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/timetable/details?id=1&return=false&callingPage=tf Would this be the best route and then dander onto Twickenham
I notice there that you can get to Twickenham from Clapham Junction which would be much handier and save some time.
