Just wanted to give you an update, as I have been in hospital since good friday, just got out there at the weekend, I am doing ok, no nearer to tranplant ( I have been diagnosed with IPF-idipathic lung fibrosis) its a terminal illness, but i am still fighting it, my lung capacity is 45% at the moment it has to be 30% before tranplant will be considered as the organs are just not availble. and I am on oxygen all the time. They have asked me if i wanted some restbite in hospice, dont know which one yet, so I said yes, I am burnt out and exhausted after all the tests and other problems, so I need time out for a while. Thank you all so much for your good wishes texts and support, its so much appreciated, you are all very special to me and always will be, i will continue to help as and where I can. I would ask you all again the importance of carry a doner card, discuss this with your family, you never know it could be you or one of your family, at any time, TEXT DONOR 50050 for a card I have never smoked and was swimming 50 lenghts a day of a 33mtr pool 3 months before i was diagnosed with this condition.
hope you get better soon pam with all the things you do for everyone here asking people do sign up to a donor card is not much, after all it could be saving someones life
Pam, I can only wish and pray that you will recover from this awful illness. I don't know you like others on the site would, but I know from reading posts on here that everyone holds you in high regard and I can tell that you are a one in a million kind of character. With the grace of God you will pull through, you will be in my prayers.
