Turn the tv off and pull all the plugs out for about five minutes and try it again then.

Their machines tend to overheat every so often and need to be unplugged for a few mins, from time to time ... bit of a pain.

Oh, btw while we're on the topic of Sky TV ... if you phone them up and tell them you are considering cutting back your subscription package due to finances, you should get a discount for the next 6 months ;)

(thankfully, they tend to do this from time to time and are doing it at present)

    I'd imagine so mate.

Give them a bell and let them have the sob story, if that ain't working then tell them what a wonderful offer you have from Sky if you cancel with UPC and go to them etc (no need to get into the fine print, other than it's cheaper, better value etc).

It seems to me everyone is doing what they can to keep customers these days.

Setanta were offering me another 3 months half price to stay with them when I recently went to cancel, though having considered it I still cancelled as they are still far too expensive in general (given the lack of footie).

Cheers mate, will do. I'm on a monthly rolling contract with them now, as I've completed my years obligation. I get my internet off them too, might chance my arm.

... just don't box yourself into a corner mate, worst that can happen is you get nowhere, but if you just keep playing the violin in the background, you should get sorted.

Good luck with it mate ;)

    - personally, I don't have the movies, but had everything else.
