help phone in water

    Guys urgent i just put my phone through washing machine, do anyone know where i could get one of those bags for phone that have been in water ?? PLEASE

    Jaysus a washine machine Pam!! I reckon its toast. Try stick it in a bag of rice and put in the hot press for a few days

    I don't know about a bag but a friend of mine dropped her phone down the toilet and put it in bowl of rice. apparently the rice soaks up the water. she said it worked, i hope that's of use to you pam.

    there was a irish thing on tv a few weeks ago this majic bag i dont know what its called you just leave it in this bag for half hour and phone works again. feck all the names for trip ect all on the phone i am in a panic

    i took battery out and put sim in another phone got most of numbers sim seams to be ok, tho all my messages and texts are gone, dried the phone with hairdryer, and its now in rice, hope this works thanks lads for response if any one knows where these phone bags that were on the late late show please let me know they are €10. worth having one in cse of emergency's

    Save all your numbers to your sim from now on Pam x
    I changed phone one time and noticed I was saving to the phone memory. Took me ages to copy all the numbers across

    left in all morning just tried it maybe too early, still not working:mad:

    All else fails, put it in a thick sock and leave it on radiator or in pillowcase in hot press, worth a try

    Regarding the rice and airtight bag(sandwich/freezer bag) I would recommend leaving it in the bag for 48hours before breaking the seal. If it aint working after that, it's toast I'm afraid.

    just looked at that i must work on the same principle but these are red ones, and are stocked in ireland but who knows where ??
