Guys urgent i just put my phone through washing machine, do anyone know where i could get one of those bags for phone that have been in water ?? PLEASE
Jaysus a washine machine Pam!! I reckon its toast. Try stick it in a bag of rice and put in the hot press for a few days
I don't know about a bag but a friend of mine dropped her phone down the toilet and put it in bowl of rice. apparently the rice soaks up the water. she said it worked, i hope that's of use to you pam.
there was a irish thing on tv a few weeks ago this majic bag i dont know what its called you just leave it in this bag for half hour and phone works again. feck all the names for trip ect all on the phone i am in a panic
might be a few tips here in this link Pam. Never heard about that bag thing to be honest. Hope ya get sorted http://www.wikihow.com/Save-a-Wet-Cell-Phone
Take out the sim at least Pam and dry it, will save those numbers http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/how-to/tips/4269047 http://tech-er.com/tech-er-videos-a...m/166-tips-on-how-to-fix-water-damaged-phones
i took battery out and put sim in another phone got most of numbers sim seams to be ok, tho all my messages and texts are gone, dried the phone with hairdryer, and its now in rice, hope this works thanks lads for response if any one knows where these phone bags that were on the late late show please let me know they are €10. worth having one in cse of emergency's
Save all your numbers to your sim from now on Pam x I changed phone one time and noticed I was saving to the phone memory. Took me ages to copy all the numbers across
Tech fixers in blanchardstown sell bags like the one you're describing. Bit late now but just seen the thread. It's in the D.I.D
thanks i will try ringing them, this bag is still supposed to work left in all morning just tried it maybe too early, still not working
All else fails, put it in a thick sock and leave it on radiator or in pillowcase in hot press, worth a try
Regarding the rice and airtight bag(sandwich/freezer bag) I would recommend leaving it in the bag for 48hours before breaking the seal. If it aint working after that, it's toast I'm afraid.
just rang DID, they thought i was nuts, i have been trying google and all sorts looking for it, i am so glad someone else seen it to. I am not mad after all
just looked at that i must work on the same principle but these are red ones, and are stocked in ireland but who knows where ??
