In the process of booking our wedding for the summer of next year. Looking to pick a venue first then work the date around that. Will be looking at somewhere not further than an hour from Dublin. Have looked at 6 or 7 places already, just wondering if anyone out there has any advice on previous experiences they have had.
I got married in the lakeside hotel in virginia. As you drive up to it it doesnt look too inspiring but around the front its got a great view of the lake and is top notch inside. Staff are brilliant and everyone was looked after brilliantly
me and my wife were the 1st to be married in the royal hotel in bray..the wedding planner had everything sorted out fantastically and went out of their way to impress us

I actualy work here was just about to recomend us there, when your wedding here kopirish il c can i work a bit of magic for ya
Ha ha good man Darren. It's the Saturday of the October Bank Holiday weekend. Few of my cousins and mates got married there so been there a good few times. Better have the bars well stocked
went to the Bridge house hotel last year for a mate's wedding and it was top notch tbh. Osprey. Killashee is excellent but pricey from what i remember. Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge is well worth checking out.
Got married here in '08 and can recommend. Kopirish is dead right, I would love to be getting married now, the deals are great out there so play them off against each other...
Are you sure ? i was there last year and was sure the bar for the function room was outside the doors of the ballroom, which can take away from the crowd as alot wills tand outside at the bar
