I got invited to a freebie for the derby and got an email tonight by the company taking me to say the following. I have just received the Itinerary: Dress Code - Smart Casual with no denim, trainers, or team colours. The event starts at 5.30. Anyone have a feckin clue what thats all about, dont fancy put on the tin of fruit going to a game.
I went in there, and never read the dress code bit, I had a FULL Liverpool traksuit on me, scarf n all. Trainers and jersey. I got some funny looks, but nothing was said to me.
Now now Mr Liamo....free flights, hotel, drink and anything else of the entertainment nature. Keeps MBNA of me back for a few weeks.
Is that the company's rules or the clubs ? Smart slacks shoes dressy t-shirt with collar Similar to most night clubs in England that don't allow jeans
If yer going for a suit ye might aswell pay tribute to the best dressed players of our history..............
Ah had a good night in the Centenary Club, no dress code at all, could of wore me jocks on me head and nobody would of said anything. Nice four course meal before hand, padded seat on the half way line, sandwiches and cream cakes at end of game and then Phil Neal was rolled out pi$$ed drunk to give a speech after. But give me a dodgy burger, warm beer and a ticket for the kop any day!!!
