Following our recent success at Wembley, Liverpool Football Club is delighted to announce LFC locations where fans can view and get their photograph taken with the Carling Cup trophy over the coming weeks.

Saturday 10th March at Anfield Store: 10am-4pm

Wednesday 14th March at Chester Store: 10am-5pm

Friday 16th March at Williamson Sq Store: 10am-5pm

Saturday 17th March at Liverpool One Store: 10am-6pm

Friday 23rd March at Belfast Store: 10am-4pm

Saturday 24th March at LFC's Boot Room Cheshire Oaks: 12pm-7pm

Fans can attend any of the above LFC venues between the times allocated. Please note, we expect that there will be queues throughout the day.

The Cup will then reside in the LFC Museum, along with other our other silverware. Visitors can also have a professional photograph taken with the cup when they visit the LFC Museum.

Wasnt there a man u shop in dub a few years ago, surely an offical liverpool shop would do really well in dublin? Even one in cork or limerick for that matter?!

Every second or third irish person who follows football seems to be a liverpool fan and if their was an offical shop they could sell offical merchandise, clothes, match programmes, jerseys, posters and even tickets it would be very useful!

Any new jerseys or launches etc would mean players would be over every few weeks and we wouldnt have to travel to belfast to see the cup!

Yeah i'd imagine an official club store would make alot of money in Cork or Dublin. Shame there isn't one already.

I'd say the club have looked in to it but I'd imagine the cost of renting a space in Dublin city centre has put them off.
How that Celtic shop in the jervis centre is still open I'll never know, there's not a hope that's breaking even, never mind making a profit..

A liverpool shop somewhere on the northside would have lower rent than the southide, it would definately do really well.Id even manage it myself!

I doubt that there would be much demand for an official club shop in Dublin.Anyone
that doesn't make it over to a game can shop online. It's never been easier.

There was one in Donaghmede shopping center years ago.Its not a good idea,as you are limiting your self to only LFC fans in a particular area.

The lad who ran the north dublin sc lived in donaghmede and he was pushing the idea to the club. From memory it wasnt an actual official club store though, just a very biased sports shop

Sorry to go off topic. Just continuing the conversation of the previous posts.

There was a shop in town, years ago. Called Soccer World. Was on one of the corners of Capel street. He had bits of memorabilia from 3 or 4 clubs. Clocks Bedcloths cups etc..... .This was before the introduction of Sky. I spoke to the guy to get a bit of backgroud info from him. He was buying his stock from the clubs.
Does anyone think that a similar venture would be successful today
