Your Favorite LFC goal...?

I was thinking about this today and I think it will make an interesting thread.Whats your Favorite LFC goal...?

I am going to go for the one from John Barnes against the Bitters,remember the one he was out on the left wing right on the touch line and he wiped it straight into the net.IIRC it was the 4:4 draw in the 1991 FA Cup,what a match what a goal.I don't know what it is about that goal but it always brings back good memory's,Barnes was some player in his prime.

Remember watching that one on VCr alright I was only a nipper, one of earliest Pool memories, Digger what a ledge on the field(scored best Eng goal ever vs Brazil)...........not to mention his rapping skills!

For me my favourite was a youthful Stevie G scoring a screamer in Annie Road round End vs Man UshiTeD in 00/01 season. What a hit, like an arrow hitting the target!!It was in from the second it left his foot!!
To make it more special it was my only ever pool vs man u game and I was sitting in lower Annie Road end and had a class view of the goal...get in :)

Don't like to think about the 4-4 draw as Kenny left the next day. Took us over 10years to recover from that.

Owen against Arsenal in Cardiff to win the FA cup

Gerrard from 35yards same venue in injury time

Kenny at the bridge to capture the league in his first year as player/manager double to follow the next week

I am fond of crouches 1 st goal (plus minus the help of Pollit) V Wigan. Not a great goal, but every one wanted him to score. He has gone on to prove himself, since that, but that, coupled with his second later in the first half went a long way.

How about Barnes free kick against the Arse?

or Aldos strike in the cup final after 4 minutes, a highly charged emotional occasion, for obvious reasons, against our neighbours.

Thanks Megager. Tough decisions. Had quite a few to choose from, should probably give Razor an honourable mention for the equaliser in the 3-3 v man utd in the last nite game infront of the old standing Kop. The abuse I was getting in the pub that nite when 3-0 down was dire. He made it a great nite.:)

Still in the days when we had a given right to win trophies each season and this seemed to be slipping away..until barnesie hit the cross bar with a cracking free kick , and good ol Ronnie knocked it in. Cue wild delerium and tears (in a weird kinda rage) while my sis and her friend looked in the sitting room window to ensure all was ok in the world.

- Owens winner v Arsenal in the FA cup final... A big f*ck you to the gooner who i shared a flat with at the time.

-Xabi's equaliser v Milan..... I actually felt physically sick such were the emoutions bouncing around at that stage.

- Fowlers winner in the second newcastle 4-3, hugging of TV and relief of victory after we thought we had lost what we had already won.
