Details and Rules below for IK Cheltenham Tipping Competition A few changes in the point scoring from last years competition. €10 entrance fee (payment can be made by bank transfer, paypal or cash, just PM me for details). If sending by paypal can you send the payment as a gift so that you pay for the transaction fee and I receive exactly the €10. * 1 selection per race * If any of your selections are a non-runner you can change it up until the race starts, otherwise it will be replaced by the SP favourite. If there are joint/co favs it will be the horse with the lowest race card number (e.g. 6 would be the selection over 11) * All selections for each days racing to be in 5 minutes before the first race * If you don't have time to post a full days selections just post "Favourite in every race" and your selection will be the SP favourite in all races. If there are joint/co favs it will be the horse with the lowest race card number (e.g. 6 would be the selection over 11) * You are to NAP one of your selections each day, if it wins it's race you will receive an extra 10 points.If you fail to NAP a horse you will NOT receive a replacement NAP. * Non-handicaps points for first 3 places and handicaps points for first 4 places * In the event of a dead heat in a race, points will be adjusted accordingly * Points will be awarded as follows 1st place - 16 points 2nd place - 10 points 3rd place - 6 points 4th place - 4 points (only paid out in handicaps) *Bonus Points will be as follows Winner over 24/1 = 10 bonus points Winner over 16/1 = 7 bonus points Winner over 8/1 = 4 bonus points Note: In relation to the point above regarding what happens if you have a non-runner and you notice it before the race starts, DONT edit your original post with your days selections, just post it in the thread(for everyone else to see) as a new post and PM me also. Regarding prize-money and the payout structure: We have 12 entries altogether so €120 in the prize pool. Money received from wertyu. 6 that are paid up Gary, we had 15 or so last year I think. A few more said they are in it, but haven't paid yet. So if people still plan on entering it can they confirm here and once they make payment by Friday its fine.
