I think it is time to move on, and hope we get 3 points here.

Very very difficult game

Wow didn't know this was coming up! Really really tough game, be very surprised if we get 3 points out of this. I don't know what team is best to go with, they've a lot of pace and will cause our defence (Carragher especially) endless trouble. We need to get into this one very early on and quieten the crowd, could be a disaster if they get on top early and the crowd really get into it!

 

Sunderland have picked up 2 suspensions in the derby.
They aren't a great side at all player for player wise. It all depends on which Liverpool team turns up.
If we have our shooting boots on we will win this by 2 clear goals.

It's on Setanta Ireland which is a bonus.

 

Tough game but tougher for them so no reason why we can't win. We have the players to cause them endless problems.

Sessegnon and Cattermole are out for them after being red carded vs Newcastle. Should make the task much easier.

Sessegnon is a huge loss not just because such a good player without him they will switch their formation
Wouldn't have minded Cattermole playing as anytime I've seen him play he is a red card waiting to happen.
But might save us getting a player injured.

 

Would anyone consider giving Coates a start ahead of Carragher? I know i would.

Think it might happen with Cara playing v Everton

 

I would aswell. With Everton tuesday it's important to rotate for this game I would say.

 

Wouldn't be shocked to see the three centre halfs play on
Saturday.

Think we could play good football with this side and as have been sayin all week think this is the perfect time for Shelvey and Coates to get their chance. However I would be surprised to see Maxi and Shelvey start.

Think it's time to give 4-4-2 a try as it gives a better balance in my view and will allow us get more bodies in the box when we attack. Tough game though. I'm assuming Stevie and Glen unfit.

 

Id pick the same side as last weekend.

 

But if Gerrard and Johnson are fit they would come in for me for Kelly and Adam.

I wouldn't play Carragher for the foreseeable future. I'd like to play Coates on saturday and see how he gets on.
