    Read his book. Would recommend it, talks no shit and plenty of insightful stories from Shanks and Paisley eras. With the amount of punishment his body took, it's no wonder he has so many operations such as hip, elbow replacements.

    I think Kenny, Hansen and Carra donated their medals to the museum. Hopefully they will pay Tommy a decent few bob for them.

    120k for 75 Medals. Just under 2k a Medal.That's a steal in my opinion and its something the club could easily affoard.

    is he struggling financially?

    be great if the club bought them off him and threw in a few bob extra if he was struggling for a few bob.

    Say a quote from him earlier that said something to the effect "I'm not skint, but getting old, and I can enjoy the money more than the medals. I always have the memories"

    I really hope LFC buy these medals for the museum. It would be sad to see them fall into the wrong hands ie somebody who does not support Liverpool and would not appreciate them

    Poor old Tommy Smith, comes the day when the arl arse legends have to flog what they've achieved in their short career. Really hope our club help him out by at least renting them if not buying them for the museum. Then again this is MODERN FOOTBALL and no sentimentality :-(

    the club should bid for the lot it would be a shame to see this collection broke up they shold be displayed at anfield

    Many won't have an ounce of sympathy for him over many of the horrible things he said about and accused Emlyn Hughes of.To many nowadays he's a sad bitter ****.

    He says he's not doing it for the money so why are people feeling sad for him?

    The medals have been locked up in a safe and prior to that they where in his attic for years, he doesn't have a trophy room like other players do
