2 days til this.. Wolves are patchy, we won 0-3 here last season, and fingers crossed we can get 3 points again this season. I would go with this starting 11: Reina Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique Henderson Adam Gerrard Downing Kuyt Carroll
This will be a tricky one considering the amount of games we've played recently. Expect a good amount of changes from Saturday
I actually love when we have loads of games close together, I know the players do be wrecked at times but it gives great consistency and you can really build on the momentum built in the last game! Never like playing Wolves but the team is playing well at the moment so I'd be confident of a win in this one!
Really need to keep up the tempo for this. 2 manc games are now behind us and we need to ensure we are ready and up for this as Wolves certainly will be. Team I'd go for ---------------Reina------------- Johnson--Skrtel-Agger--Enrique -----Spearing--Adam------- Kuyt-----Gerrard---Downing -----------Carroll----------- Hendo in for Spearing if the wee fella's not fit
---------------Reina------------- Kelly------Skrtel-----Agger----------Glen ------------Gerrard?--Henderson--------- Bellamy---Kuyt-----Downing -----------Carroll------------ id rest Enrique Daniel Remedios The Times are reporting that Steven Gerrard was substituted against Manchester United as a result of a hamstring injury. Doubt for Wolves.
This is the big test following 2 great results. We need to finish off the likes of these if we want ch league football simple as that.Reckon we will go with Reina Glen Skrtel Agger Enrique Henderson Adam Downing Jonjo Bellamy Carroll
Will be showin the game live in our place lads if anyones around. www.salmonspublichouse.ie. Usually a good few reds about when were on foreign channel.
This is a good test now for the players, I`m thrilled with how they performed last week in both cup games but wasn’t surprised that we got passed both Manc clubs. Even my missus who is forced to endure my love of the club always says the team lift themselves for the big games and cock up the matches against the so called smaller teams. Wolves away at the end of January is the type of game this current team need to be winning if they want to become as truly consistent side that can firstly get CL football back and then kick on over the next few seasons and challenge for the title. I`m hopeful the boost of the last week is the catalyst for the lads to kick on for the rest of the season as for some reason to me it is starting to feel like 2001 again
I`m hopeful the boost of the last week is the catalyst for the lads to kick on for the rest of the season as for some reason to me it is starting to feel like 2001 again[/QUOTE] Hopefully it is that start of things to come. Remember 2001, we won every comp we were in, and for Kenny to win even 1 this year would be a success. The emotion he showed after the shity game has to show the rest of football what we already know, is that Liverpool is not just a job to him but an HONOUR to manager HIS team.
With Spurs and Utd to come after this, I'd say this one is a must win. Going to be a very tough 6 points to play for after Wolves, and could find ourselves cut well adrift of 4th if we dont bag the 3 points tomorrow.
Massive game, really need 3 points here. I'd start the strongest team possible because nearly a full weeks rest before spurs game
Presuming no Stevie ------------------Reina-------------------- Kelly----Skrtel--------Agger--------Johnson ---------Henderson---Spearing------------- Kuyt-----------Shelvey/Adam----------Bellamy -----------------Carroll--------------------- Maxi in if Bellers is in a heap after last week
