Pixmania is what I'd recommend anyway.

I got a 1TB Western Digital portable hard drive last year for about €80 on it.

I just bought a brand new Toshiba 1TB portable hard drive off ebay for €100, lost out on a few but eventually got one for that including postage from England. It arrived and all so perfect stuff.

i have a 500gb western digital ext hard drive with about 7,500 mp3's on it. I use it for DJ'ing. I have it about 3 years and use it quite a bit, never hard problems with it (touch wood).

Yeah I'm sure it can be to tv with USB slot but for ps3 you will need to reformat it to FAT32 before you stick stuff on it or it won't recognize it

my external hard drive is no longer being read by the PC when i plug it in. I think i left it under a pile of damp clothes for a couple of hours by mistake.

Is there any way i can get this back working, or does anyone have any advice. All music & photos contained on it.

Only thing I can think of is the hot press or a sandwich bag full of rice to take the moisture out of it

Beyond 2000 just off grafton street have a 500G for 60 quid I think and a 300G for 50. Thats where I got mine a few months ago so I assume prices are the same.

I did a bit of sniffing about for one recently ...

Peats etc were all telling me that there was a shortage in production at the moment & hence, they had to charge more for theirs (ffs :D) ...

Anyway, www.7dayshop.com proved worth a look. £68 gets you 750gb, for example.

Prices have gone up as a number of key factories in Thailand that makes parts for all drives was flooded. I think it's hard o beat amazon in terms of choice and they're very good on price.
