Always enjoy this on teh guardian site.

1 - Yellow card to the keeper for entering firled of play without permission. Include in post match report.

2 - Advise linesman not to act in such a manner. No 'official' action.

3 - Award goal. No goal scoring opportunity ahs been prevented so no red card. Can issue a yellow for the 'attempt'

    Hmm.

    1. I'll go with what CoolFran said for the first one.
    2. Maybe ask the 4th official to replace him?
    3. Allow the goal, as it is playing advantage. Take no action against the offender.

I reckon a sending off unsporting behaviour for the 3rd one and I'd agree with the boys on 1 and 2.

    Keith Hackett's verdict

    1) Law 3 deals with this sort of situation specifically, making it clear that if a change of goalkeepers is made without your permission, you must caution both the individuals involved. You also need to ask the new goalkeeper to leave the field of play so that the substitution can be completed properly. Then restart with a corner kick.
    John Bowers wins the shirt.
    2) Your assistant is guilty of improper conduct – it's totally unacceptable behaviour: officials have to be impartial and totally transparent. Replace him with the fourth official, find a qualified replacement fourth official if possible, and report the full facts to the appropriate authorities.
    Thanks to Peter Conway.
    3) It's a goal. Why penalise the attacking side by disallowing it? Show the defender a yellow card, not a red: he is guilty of unsporting behaviour, but clearly not guilty of preventing a goa

Very interesting! On point 1 are they saying both keepers are booked?
