It's a disgrace, they will eventually block sites, but those who know will never be blocked from sites they love. ;)

So much for freedom of speech. We are starting to go backwards because we follow in the footsteps of the great all powerful giant that is the US govt. Who in turn follow the money.

Freedom of the press is being gradually eroded, what you view online could be damaged because of these bills..lets hope they are not passed.

What are you using to view it? It displays on the PC for a second, then gets covered up. Seems to be a flash type job. And it's only the English language pages are gone too.

fair play to you! nice one!

this guy did great work is showing how the companies who made pirate software and bit torrents available on their sites for years are the companies lobbying for the SOPA act.
i dunno why he had to present it in such a camp, childish manner though. no need to dramatise the facts. anyway its good research work

Thanks man - it's only a portfolio site but sure why not :) I'd do the same though if it was a tech company I was running.

I know what you mean about the vid. The one on http://fightforthefuture.org/pipa is succinct and has great points, but it goes a bit over dramatic/exaggerated at moments. There's a brilliant argument/message for no to SOPA - no need to dilute it.

This Is What an Internet Protest Looks Like

Its a digrace what they are doing, and no doubt the rest of the world will end up following suit if the Americans inforce this. There is no way we should be told what we are able to view and not to view. Its our own choice and Own opinion and we are having this taken away from us.Hopfully this bill wont be passed.

The Yanks' really do lose the run of themselves sometimes, don't they ....

For all the good things they can do, they then come out with crap like this, or banning online gambling etc - meanwhile, they've a massive number of murders each year, coupled with all sorts of drug problems etc - WTF ???

Everyone should try and do something to help raise the profile of whats being attempted here and obviously, encourage people to protest against the US proposals.

the usa gov., mega corps, or anyone mentioned on wikileaks would just LOVE that as an excuse to put the shackles on it. its in their interests to shut down the freedom of information and speech and would most likely be the instigators of some kind of cyber "terrorist" attack. stuxnet being already one example of this

Anonymous takes down justice.gov and Universal in retaliation.I love the power the internet holds right now.

Played a massive part in making a black man the US president, played a huge role in civilian lead uprisings around the world, the attack on Sony, the fight back against SOPA, Wikileaks and so on.

Unfortunately the flip side is it is also responsible for Justin Bieber.
