We are going to do a 23 Foundation evening in Dublin this March/April and will have circa 3 LFC legends and 1/2 other VIP's at the night... Can you tell me the best locations to hold such a gig - going to do a small charge on the door and have loads of spot prises etc on the night - Any help / advice would be really, really appreciated... Great idea ... If it's somewhere relatively central / easy to get to and I'm about, I'd love to go .... Any idea what kind of numbers you'd be looking to cater for (might help with suggestions for the location) ?
We've done a couple of these nights Fred, the first was held in the cuckoos nest for the HJC and the second was a fundraiser on in the submarine for Pam and a fibrosis charity. Both were great nights, the sub is a huge venue and you need to time it right and get a big name to get a full house. It's a big gamble leaving it to pay on the night as you'll have no idea of numbers, plus you'll need a few to sort the door on the night, possible security, someone to cover the stage and transport, hotel and grub for the legends. Takes a good bit of work but they're a great night once all goes well. Best of luck with it, I'll be there providing I'm around
