Compared to Irish and Welsh, and to an extent English football managers, the Scots seem to produce very good managers don’t they.

Paul Lambert looks the business so far in his career. Gordon Strachan did well enough with Southampton before winning leagues with Celtic.
    Obviously Ferguson at Man Utd.

And not to mention our own Kenny.

I dont think Irish managers get a fair craic of the whip, or persue it fully.

We do have Mick McCarthy, Chris Houghton, Martin O Neill, and Roy Keane

Yeah In Fairness Moyes has been Great,I use to really like Strachan and still do I'm surprised he hasn't got a job yet granted his time at Boro wasnt a fantastic time in his career,It must be the Hagis they eat that makes them great managers

I think keane has failed as a manager though. He got lucky in getting Sunderland promoted that time, in that all of his players revelled in that Roy keane is our manager factor. That was never going to last forever, and I think that them players got to know the real Roy after that, and didn't respond to him.

I agree with you, i never said he was a good manager, i just ment he's an Irish manager that got to the top league.

Who did Mick and Chris play for Glen??? What national anthem do they sing?? Dont be silly, they are IRISH managers.

I know O Neill is from northern Ireland but the OP said scottish football, irish and welsh, i just put Ireland and Northern Ireland as a collective.

And i wouldnt even call stan a manager.

Some very good Scottish managers compared to the english Predigree in my opinion.Imagine if a scots man got the english job ahead of a english man.Now that would be some fun.
