I thought I'd drop the Ombudsman a quick line, complaining about The FA and their clear discrimination against Suarez - they need to punish all players equally, or not at all !!!

Anyone else with a few minutes to spare, who agrees, might also please send an email to register a complaint against The FA - about time we started giving them a little bit of grief back.

    Dear Sir or Madam,

I truly believe that Liverpool FC player Luis Suarez is being victimised by The FA as opposing players can seem to get away with the same or similar incidents. One incident in mind is when Suarez put up his finger to Fulham FC fans. While I am not agreeing with this, similar incidents with Wayne Rooney, Gary Neville and Ashley Cole have gone unpunished. The fact that these players are/were English internationals brings me to think that The FA are biased.

The next matter I bring to mind is the racism allegations between Mr. Suarez and Patrice Evra. Mr. Evra has been known to accuse racism falsely but has also admitted abusing Mr. Suarez in his statement to The FA yet nothing has been done about this.

I would like for you to look over all evidence and to see in an unbiased opinion if Mr. Suarez was treated harshly.

I look forward to hearing from you about your findings.

    Yours Sincerely
    Bernard Warner

Got an email back saying I need to write to the FA because they don't deal with how players are disciplined but yet I just was stating that players seem to be dealt differently and that the FA are biased

    Hi Midg,

No harm having a go at them on different fronts - the bottom line here is The FA are not treating Suarez in the same manner as they are dealing with other players, who commit similar offenses in my email.

By all means, hit them with all you've got mate :)

    ==============================

Interesting that they have just sent three of us the same message, claiming they are not responsible and we should complain to The FA.

I've just sent them back another email:

.. I suspect we may have to start giving The FA a bit of grief here also (although I do think this is the ombudsman trying to side step the issue), so must dig out an email address for them next.

There's no precedent to complain about in the racism case! They assembled an independent panel so I'm sure the ombudsman would agree that it was fair!

    This is embarrassing people.

Why on earth do so many of my fellow Liverpool fans feel the need to feel victimised over everything? It's cringeworthy at this stage.

The precedent for Luis' gesture towards the Fulham fans was set last season, when Stephen Carr was banned for one game and handed a fine for a ''wanker'' gesture he aimed towards Villa fans.

Some of the incidents that I've heard my fellow Liverpool fans crying over and wondering why those players haven't been charged, I can answer.

It's simple because the others are not clear cut.

Raul Meireles vs Arsenal? Raul made the gesture from the goal posts. Who was he aiming it at? Who knows, but we can't say for any certainty that he was aiming it at Arsenal fans.

Rooney vs Chelsea? Again, this isn't clear cut. Rooney had claimed he was pointing towards his eyes, gesturing ''open your eyes'' towards the linesman, as Rooney had just been previously taken out with no free awarded.

Gary Neville escaped punishment for a 'f*** you' sign because he directed it at Tevez, not at opposition supporters.

Luis' gesture, like Carr's, is as clear as day. He had no defense, he blatantly made an offensive gesture right in front of Fulham fans. He left the FA no option but to punish him.

So, my fellow LFC supporters, please show me a clear cut case of a player offensively gesturing towards opposition fans in the last 12 months that wasn't punished.

I'd be intrigued to see it.

Juan, did you read what I said about the Rooney incident?

It wasn't clear cut by any means. Rooney denied he gestured towards Chelsea fans and claimed it was an ''open your eyes'' gesture toward the lineman.

Out of the above article you linked:

This means the FA investigated it and found that they could not prove Rooney made that gesture towards Chelsea fans. Which is a reasonable conclusion as there was evidently doubt whether Rooney did aim it at the Chelsea fans.

This is different to Luis' case, as he had absolutely no such defense as what he did was as clear as day. Luis left the FA with no option.
