I am probably going to get abuse for starting such a thread but anyways. I was watching the chelsea spurs game last night and i was just saying to my mate how andy carroll would probably fit into the chelsea team and get his place due to the way they play. With drogba possible leaving and torres wanting out. Would a torres carroll be a good possible swap deal? As much as i think carroll needs more time and instead of buying another striker we should get a right winger to delivery good quality balls in. i think i would accept a swap from torres as he suits are system far more. what do you think lads? happy xmass by the way
In my own opinion give Andy more time.Torres burned his bridges with us and we don't want a player who can't get into the Chelsea team.
There's more chance Grainne Seioge gobbling my knob under the mistletoe than this happening. For all fantasicts (sorry about spelling) Torres will NEVER play for Liverpool again.Hahaha sure only this week he's been quoted as saying the new owners lied to him and the fans don't really know the truth, the ****s gone
Firstly I dont particularly want Torres back, and I think Carroll will come good for us, but having said that, I for one will take the swop providing Rover 609 gets his under the mistletoe action and of course shares the video footage with his closest 1700 friends here on Irish Kop.
Ye never know, Santa might be reading the forum (he's obviously a Red) and decide you have in fact been a good boy and deserve something special - well either that or he may decide that Grainne has been a total b*tch this year and decide on a lump of coal not being lesson enough. Either way youre in!
I don’t see what the big deal is, I’m all for a bit of Grainne growler gobbling (try saying that fast 5 times), so the swap is on, not so sure what my missus will make of it though. I have a feeling I may have missed the point here somewhere.
Stuck with the mental image of poor Grainne kneeling in front of Ronan now. I havent even had me lunch yet. As for the original post....... Never happening man. Never in a million years. Anyone who wants Torres back needs looking at, imo. And why would Chelsea want Carroll?
Ironic humour. Scouse wit. (sort of similar to The kop pegging beach-balls at Reina before the Man ure game, after the sunderland thing)
Hi, My 2 cents worth ... A) I never want Torres back at Anfield, no matter what he does by way of apology to the club, players and fans. B) Big Andy has challenges to overcome and I fear, the greatest one of all right now is his confidence is low. In a sad sad way, the fact that Suarez looks like being suspended for a number of games (currently 8, but hopefully less after the appeal) ... might work in Andy's favour, getting him much needed first team football. After that, it's entirely up to him to make it work imho, as I'm sure he'll get plenty of opportunities and help from the rest of the players .... Andy for Torres, no thanks Anyone for Torres, no thanks The Chelski bench for Torres, YES PLEASE ... he got what he deserved.
