hhhmmm it looks unlikely that we'll be making any ground on United or Arsenal this weekend. Hopefully a draw between Everton and City and an Away win for us. We need to find that winning feeling.

Not looking forward to this match at all, Boro away is always a bogey. Rafa should let the lads of the leash and go for it from the off.

Reina, Finnan, Carra, Sami, Arbeloa, Gerrard, Masherano, Alonso, Babel, Crouch, Torres

Kewell, Kuyt, Riise and Vorinin have shown themselvesto have been incapable of doing anything when they have got their chances.

with our away form been what it is we should win.

Although given the madness at the moment we could end up drawing or something ridiculous.

I can barely contain my excitement at the prospect of a 4th place epic battle.

At the risk of inviting the gremlins I expect this to be reasonably comfortable...0-2.

Definitely vital to get 3 points in this one, and it won't be easy if Boro play anyway like they played when Arsenal played them a few weeks back. Hope to see Agger feature in this one, and us sneaking any kind of win - don't care how we do it!

    Pepe
    Finnan
    Aggar/ Skrtel
    Carra
    Arbeloa
    Youssi
    Masch
    Xabi
    Kewell
    Stevie G
    Torres

with Crouch, Babel, Risse,Pennant on the bench.

    Reina

    Finnan Carrra Hyypia Arbeloa

    Pennant Gerrard Alonso Babel

    Torres Crouch

As previously referred to lets get into them from the off it may be a bogey ground for us, this Boro team is as bad as there has been over the last few years, they only have Woodgate who is a fantastic player for me.

I dount Agger will be involved with that reserve game having been postponed last night, its still great to have him back in the fold. Hopefully he can play some part against Luton on Tuesday.

Too early for the new kid and Agger so Sami to do a job again. Torres and Crouchy up top. JP and H on the wings. A scrappy 1-0 win will do lovely, jaysus I hate Boro away worst fixture of the year!

don't like this ground at all.it's dark dull and depressing and we very rarley seem to get the win here.always looks like a scrappy 0-1 for us but we always seem to fall short.

we should be able to win this 1 but with these already beating the arse ya never know with them.hopefully we get the win and as somebody already said everton and city to draw,is what we really need tbh.:D

Hopefully the 'rest' for Gerrard and Torres will get them on the scoresheet.

    I've a feeling Agger will play......dunno why.

Alonso for his 100th Liverpool game if he plays today......

Steven Gerrard has recovered from the calf injury that kept him out of last week's FA Cup clash with Luton and he will captain the Reds in today's Premier League match with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
Gerrard will be partnered in the centre of the midfield by Javier Mascherano with John Arne Riise and Yossi Benayoun on the flanks. A look at the Liverpool bench today brings the welcome sight of Daniel Agger.

Liverpool - Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Hyypia, Finnan, Riise, Mascherano, Gerrard, Benayoun, Torres, Voronin. Subs - Itandje, Agger, Alonso, Kuyt, Babel.

Interesting to see Voronin start up front. Wonder will he play more out towards the wings allowing Yossi come in more behind the striker like he did against Luton last week?

Tough game, be doing well to win considering the run we are on at the moment.

here here, was sure Crouch would get the nod alongsde Torres today, lets hope this Vorinin GAMBLE pays of because the last 6 or seven games we've played we've been carrying him, especially when he goes wide to recieve a pass the whole time.......totally ineffective out there.
