Got a win in the last game so gonna try keep the run going. Need to get at these from the start, i personally dont think they will be good enough going forward to cause us too many problems but we will need to be taking our chances against these, a quick goal would settle us and unsettle them. Id go for and go at them from the off, fast running, fast passing, hopefully fast goals.
Gonna be a tough game this, Villa will be hard to break down and our finishing is poor. Maxi, Suarez and Bellamy up top could cause them problems though.

I'd bet over a full season Maxi would score 15-20 goals a season Getting into the right postion is just a natural part of his game and playing more regular he would have scored 2-3 today
What i find reassuring is that nobody has said to put Carra into the team in ages, which is a good thing meaning our defence is settled.
i agree with both you lads maxi is a must starter his positional sense and runs into the box are vital if we want to progress
I'd go with 4231 with Maxi in the hole and after 65 mins take him off switch Suarez to the hole with Carroll coming on upfront and I'd say it would take a lot of pressure of Caroll and give him more time to settle
must win now after chelsea win against city. hope we dont complicate things and just play to way we did against cheslea. hopefully suarez wont be suspended either come sunday.

Unless we take our chances here we may struggle.Villa have a huge focus on defence and we have trouble scoring so we need to start sticking our chances. I reckon maxi should start here.
Its as good a time as ever to go to Villa park. Without Gabi supplying Bent I cant see where there creativity is going to come from, Petrov while still good is slow, Albrighton hasnt made the leap forward alot of people expected him to when he burst on the scene. At the back, Given being out is a huge plus. I fully expect us to get the 3 points on Sunday. That team would be the one for me as well there Prendy and RedM. They're main threat will come from N'Zogbia and Albrighton down the wings and set pieces I'd say. We need to dominate in midfield and get Bellamy and Suarez to use their pace and tricks to good effects against a slow defence. Can see us nicking this one nil.
