    Hi,

    Sorry but it's late at night and I'm feeling the need to post a couple of stupid questions ... having recently signed up for Three (€40 pm x 24 mth plan - Classic Flex Max.)

    I've had a bit of a look around their website:
    http://www.three.ie/products_services/priceplans/billpay/flex_plans.html

    * I get the concept of Flexiunits - it's either 1 minute phone call, or 2 x text messages (grand :))

    * I get the free Three to Three calls :)

    * All you can eat data is supposed to be part of the package, but now I'm reading on the Three website (page linked above) that this is until the end of the year, only. Is this in contradiction of the plan I've signed up for (and I should have read the small print) ?

    - It's contradicted here, with indication that new customers who just signed up get it indefinitely: http://www.three.ie/products_services/priceplans/billpay/all_you_can_eat_data.html

    * 1 Freebie Add-on (got the extra texts - "Text All") - again, looks like it's going from 31st December 2011 per their website. Do I then need to opt out of this, to avoid getting charged the extra dosh each month ?

    * Web texts (333 free) http://webtext.three.ie/login.jsp
    I don't see any terms and conditions here for this. Is it standard text charge (assuming your outside of your bundle), once you've used up the initial 333 text messages ?

    * Whats the story with the free Skype and Messenger (how do you set it up, any restrictions etc) please ?

    Any useful services those of you already using Three would recommend I tap into ?

    Thanks, hopefully thats the stupid questions over for now (I just wish these bloomin' phone networks would make life easy and put direct comparisons out there, rather than all these varitions, to confuse the sh1t out of the customers) :)

    As far as i remember the all you can eat data will be for as long as you are in your contract. It is ending for those out of contract. By the way it's a sh*t network.. Been on it for about 4 months and have a 2 year contract and can't wait for it to end!

    Hi mate,

    Thanks for the reply - checked with Three and you are correct, anyone who signed up since March gets the "all you can eat" data for the full term of their contract.

    Sadly, it seems the free add on is only until the end of 2011 though ...

    I've read plenty of good reviews on the network, but appreciate your comments too ... though I've now signed up with them for a 24-mth spell, so I'm in whether I like it or not I guess. All said and done, if they are that bad, why not just complain a few times and if you don't get sorted, raise it with the relevant authorities ?

    - we can't be forced to pay for a service that is not "of merchantable quality" etc :)
