    Heard sky are reporting Gary speed has passed away at age 42 anyone confirm this ?

    Always liked him as a player/person plus won entry of dough over the years as first scorer very sad if true

    Just saw That now. Welsh fa have confirmed it. Must have been an accident, looked fine and healthy on football focus yesterday.

    The Wales manager Gary Speed has been found dead at his home after apparently committing suicide.

    The former Leeds, Everton, Newcastle and Bolton midfielder was found hanged at his home in Chester this morning.
    Police say there are no supsicious circumstances surrounding the 42-year-old's death.
    The Football Association of Wales confirmed the news, saying that Speed's family had authorised the release of the information.
    A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At 7.08am this morning, sunday 27 November, police were informed of an incident at Aldford Road, Huntington. Officers went to the scene where a 42-year-old man was found dead. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and next of kind have been informed." The spokesman added that man was found hanged.

    I'm proper shocked by this I really can't get over it. I went white at first and felt sick. Never expected this, I feel for his poor family. I know we don't know what was going through his head, but it is a selfish act.

    Cant believe it, as seemed full of life. Great pro and alwayscame across as great guy aswell. Just when Wales were staring to get back to doing something, all because of this Guy. Very sad for his famly and friends.

    Shocked to hear this. Always liked him, good player and Pro. So young, RIP

    I guess its fair to suspect depression if he hung himself, depression is a very tough thing to handle, God love his family :(
