What is it wih Seanad Eireann??? They gave us all this bullshit and crap when the 24th Seanad started saying that theywere gonna change, but they have gone backwards. They have announced that they are gonna waste more public Money next Monday by sitting from 6pm-8pm, so catering, I.T. Staff, Store room staff, ushers, etc will all have to be paid over time. No doubt they wont sit for the rest of the week, or will **** of at 1pm every day, usless ****s.

    Hi,

What are they supposed to be doing on Monday evening, between 6pm - 8pm mate ?

I seem to recall FG promissing a vote to abolish the Seanad & while I'm personally not in favour (instead, I favour a reduced number of both Senators in the Seanad, along with reduced number of TDs in the Dail) .... I've yet to hear a word out of FG about the issue, since they got into power.

Ultimately, FG & Labour appear to be doing the exact same sort of stuff as FF did previously, when they were in power ...

No matter who is in power, vote them out - if we can't have politicans who do what we want, lets at least ensure we restrict their ability to set up all these "fiddles" etc ;)

God only knows, whatever it is I am sure it could have been done on Monday morning at 10.30am. I think we are several years away from even having a refurendum on this. I couldn't agree more regarding FG/Labour doing the same as what went on previously, I actually think its worse this time, especially as we got the big promises that things would change, but nothing has.
