Ex-Pat Shield is the way to go, used it for the last couple of months to access the iplayer here in Canada and it’s been working perfectly.

I believe that you can also slingshot the UK IP address through the custom connection settings on the PS3 and watch the iplayer on your telly, but I haven’t actually tried it myself yet.

    Son of a whore.

I assume that your internet connection is probably pretty decent then, mine was actually very stop and go first time I used it, then just did a complete restart and it seemed to sort itself out.

Are you using Firefox? Might be an issue with IE if you are still on it.

Can only echo the recommendations for expatshield. My TV signal went off about 80 minutes into the champion's league final so I missed both goals. I fired up the laptop and was able to watch the rest of the game on ITV. Can get great clarity on BBC iPlayer. Might watch Eastenders later when my wife is watching her Thai soaps. :D

Any of ye lads ever tried watching RTE abroad will be in england a bit over the summer and will want to watch the gaa. Not much point going overto earn money and spend it in the pub watching matches.
