So i have decided that her indoors is getting me an android phone for xmas and have heard good and bad things about them all , should i stay away from the bottom end of the market and spend that bit extra for the top of the range like htc sensation or am i safe enough getting the htc wildfire has anyone used any of the sony xperia phones , currently using a sony w595 and my previous phone was also a sony so it's safe to say i like their setup , i mostly use the phone for sms internet and calling in that order , so i'd appreciate any and all feedback as to which phone to get , ps i'm not interested in being an apple sheep so dont recommend the iphone i wont buy it
I got the Xperia a few days ago and really like it - the battery is woeful though. But it's very similar to my previous sony phones so i'd be similar to you in that regard! haven't actually went through it that much but looks good thusfar! I have no experience with HTC or anything so not too sure how they compare! I'm a sony sheep!
Ahh thats the last phone i had Clare, very good phone but as you said the battery is poor, i couldnt even get a full day out of it. That aside tho its very easy to use and has everything you want. Moved onto my first i phone just two weeks ago so im very happy with that.
I was in Prague? i mean Yeah emm, misplaced Very harsh comment clare, for that i hope you have bad luck with your new sony, Rumours have it that you do have bad luck with phones
She has two phones on the go at the moment ive heard, hence why we haven't heard of her losing a phone recently.
You could try the car phone warehouse and see if they still have the sony xperia play going cheap if there's one close to you. Big thread on it here a week ago http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056444282 looks to be the best value around at the moment if you can pick it up. It's going to be getting an upgrade to the new Ice-cream sandwich operating systems also.
yeah meteor are doing the play for 179 but it's gotten horrible reviews , i was lookin at maybe the arc or the ray in the sony range
