    Once got 5 assists in 1 game for LFC in a must win CL game v Besiktas, a LFC and CL record I'd say and scored crucial goals before been loaned out, and then sold for pennies, crazy decision.

    Anything in particular spark this?;)

    Since he has been brought up I will say I always thought he was a decent player for Ukraine/in Germany and thought he would have been great for Celtic (they were also after him on a free).

    Don’t think he was quite as bad (talent wise) as generally perceived (the ponytail did no favours) but had problems with attitude/work-rate. That said I remember thinking in Keane’s half season that he didnt really perform any better.

    He looked muck for us most of the time but I think it was mainly to do with lack of pace and an apparent lack of confidence, particularly his first touch and when through on goal. Unfortunately the 2 things you need to be a striker! Believe he's having a good time of it at Dynamo Moscow these days though so good luck to him

    08/09 season a player of that quality that can get 5 assists in 1 high pressure game, may have been the game breaker in those silly drawn games and we may be on 19 now.
