ok gamers im in a bit of a pickle you see my little one(4) recently played nintendo wii in her cousins house and of course loved it spent hours boxing and dancing thing is she now wants to ask santa for a wii thats all fine but question is as i already have a ps3 could i just get the playstation move thing its a fraction of the cost of wii is it pretty much the same thing as the wii??
If your not afraid of a bit of technology, might I suggest this: Look on adverts.ie / donedeal.ie for a second hand HACKED/MODIFIED Wii ( or if you can modify it yourself, just get an older Wii (the firmware needs to be 4.3 or below I think ) gbatemp.com has all the info to do it, step by step, it's quite simple (IF you know what your at ) I've modded plenty of them for friends / family before It allows you to download, and play games directly from a portable hard drive... (Costs about €40 for one) Serious savings to be had considering you don't need to buy a game ever again... Just a thought
Keep meaning to do that to my own one Regarding Playstation MOVE, it's good, but it doesn't have the same number of kids games etc. She'll like it no doubt, but she'll still want a Wii. Kielo's solution would be best. As each game for the move is going to cost 50quid. You can pick up a second hand Wii for about 100quid!
Xbox 360 + connect and 2 games is around 250 in Argos... it's an absolute bargain at that price... not sure how long its there / will last...
