Howdy all, My nephew is a reading nut and I'm looking to mould him into an educated Red and was wondering if anyone knows of any LFC books (history, european campaigns etc.....) in kids format. He is 7 but probably reads at an 8 or 9 year old level. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
He's probably a bit old (or maybe not) but the official club merchandise includes a book that you have personalised with your childs name, address, age and friends names. It then tells the story of the child playing football in the park with his named friends and being spotted by the manager (my lads one was Rafa) and asked to come play for Liverpool, interaction with players/manager and ending up with the child coming on in the FA cup final to score the winner against utd. Think it was about 15 blips when I got it. Other than that maybe the annuals are already hitting the shops, and generally have a quick rundown on the history, as well as the usual spots on the favourite players of the moment. Someone will give you the proper title of the book (cant put my hands on it here to get it), but for a young Irish red, the Irish Anfield one will be an interesting one to have as he will more likely relate to the Irish players we've had.
