He is some goal machine, he has just scored his 12th hat-trick for madrid which is some achievement considering he is only there 2 and a bit years and also has scored just over 100 goals for them. Incredible

Not a massive fan but his goal scoring record is phenomenal.12 hatricks is an incredible
achievement in any league but to do it in one of the best leagues in the World speaks
volumes.Notice how he stopped diving after he left the mancs.

It seems to be accepted in most leagues and needs to be stamped out.

Still don't think hes as a good a footballer as Iniesta & Xavi. Astonishing goal record i know, and as clinical as they come, but NEVER does f*ck all against any big teams in big games. Invisible in every El Classico hes played in(i know he got the winner in the cup last season, but didnt do much else during the game), never really troubled us when playin with Utd, and didnt do anythin vs Chelsea either(bar miss a pen in the CL final).

Tore arsenal apart a few times, but even at international level, does all his good work against weak opposition.

And the fact hes an absolute knob jockey doesnt help matters for him either!

His goal record is unbelieveable. 80 million and they're still getting value for money. The worlds most selfish footballer though. Imo individual awards mean just as much to him as the team winning. He'll always be second best to messi. Messi might score slightly less goals but creates a hell of a lot more goals than Ronaldo. You just know it kills him to see messi getting more plaudits.

Until madrid win the title or champions league messi will get the awards every year. Messi plays for the team where as ronaldo plays for own personal glory.

I agree about xavi and iniesta being better footballers but ronaldos game is about scoring goals and in all fairness he is pretty good at it.

    Cannot stand this prick.

Yes, he scores goals to beat the band, but he is, and always has been, about himself.

He is not a team player like Messi, and he does not have the capacity (albeit yes, he is quite a skillful player) to score goals in the way Messi does.
Messi puts trophies on the table for Barca, Cristina does nothing of the sort for Madrid.

There are at least 3 players at Barca I would put ahead of him in the worlds best stakes anywhoo...

    Knob-jockey is all he is.

Fair play to him for scoring the amount of goals that he has done in Spain, but IMO the Spanish league is the most over rated in the world. Only 2 sides challenging for the title every year, the same as in Scotland. Technically it is the probably the best but for excitment it is boring, in Spain you don't get newly promoted sides drawing or beating the top sides like you do in the EPL. When it comes down to it and most importantly Ronaldo is a knobhead!!!.

I've never seen a player with the desire to score so many goals for himself. He gets tonnes of goals when the game is won and everyone else is just playing out time. He probably break records to beat the band but will never be considered up there with Messi, Zidane and even Rolandihio, as the best of his generation or any generation.

As has been mentioned already but its worth repeating, what knob he is.

Not a patch on messi. Not even in his category in my opinion.Messi is a TEAM player, Ronaldo Plays for HIMSELF.Different players, and i dont think they will ever be in the same category.Yes he scores Goals and fair play to him, But when a champions league or two on your own, or dazzle the world with your skills, and then you might get mentioned in the same breath as Messi. But until then, he is just a good goal Poacher for me.

Yep, his goalscoring is unreal. Not in doubt, at all.
But what will seperate him from others is what he's won in his time at Madrid.
What exactly are all the goals he's banging in bringing to Madrids trophy cabinet?
I'll answer that for ya... Zero, zilch, nothing, nadda.
    ..so far.

    He plays for Madrid.
Probably the most expensively assembled side in footballing history.
He is the most expensive player in footballing history.

If he wasn't such a ****, and a "me, me, me" he'd have won a league/CL title or 3 by now with Madrid.

This is what seperates Ronaldo from Messi...

And to be honest with ya, it delights me that Maureen and Cristina are winning ****all because both are ****s of the highest order, regardless of their obvious talent.
