right lads this is my first match thread i know our last few results havnt been great but i have a crazy feeling we will win this one i really would love to see bellars start this one lets take the pensionars in their own back yard and really kick off our season
with the defence this shower have it should be a field day but with our misfiring strikers it could be a slippery one would be a great game for someone to step up and start scoring a few goals and kick on from there
when we beat them we go level on points with them thats a big insentive we need to be much better id take a draw now to be honest but we have been better away all season barr spurs game and i think we can win this one as there defence is poor

Suarez left of a 3 but with the freedom to drift when we have the ball and allowing Adam to support the full backs when they attack. Enrique owns the left side in games thats why I think we can get away with Suarez on the left and Suarez plays the role for Uruguay. Spearings bite in the middle of the park with Lucas will allow Adam to support the front 3 and Id play Carroll in this one to rough up the Chelsea backline because hopefully David Luiz will play and will try to man handle him and we will get free kicks all day. When we do get a set piece id like to see all the big men in the box aswell, Kelly Carra Agger and Carroll attacking the ball. Not sure if people will agree with the team Id pick but whats everyone else opinion?

The 4-4-2 with Lucas and Adam isn't working for me. It's like a central midfield of Mascherano and Alonso (which hardly ever played in the middle of a 4, they always had Gerrard in front of them when it worked best) I do think both should be Lucas and Adam should be in the 11, though I think they do need someone in front of them that's going to link up with the strikers. I think it's time to revert to 4231.
In the league could be a tough one still think we'll get a win my guess would be 2 - 1 we'll trash them in the Carling cup as chavs will be more worried about the league and Champions league than atin els. the way its looking chelseas spot could be up for grabs hopefully it will be are's for the taking
Two changes from the team that started the last two games...Henderson and Johnson out and Kelly and Gerrard in. 2 clean sheets without Carra could be a big game for Skrtel and Agger to prove themselves as a partnership. Reina Kelly Skrtel Agger Enrique Adam Lucas Suarez Gerrard Downing Carroll With Lucas and Adam playing deeper should be no reason Suarez, Stevie and Downing can't get up around Andy and and really get at Chelsea. Would like to see Suarez, Gerrard and Downing interchange keep Chelsea guessing too.
