Where do people think Kenny should fill come January i personaly feel he's top priority should be a top class striker to keep the pressure on our current crop, we also need another winger.
Who says he'll be here in January? Did you not hear the boo's? Seriously, I dont think there's much going to happen. Squad is fine. Just need to knit together better. Getting a fully fit Stevie back will make more of a difference than any player we could sign.
I would love Bent from Villa. Would have to pay over the odds though in Janurary, so I would not expect it.
Going to agree with both posters before me.I think bent is a natural goalscorer and Johnson is a quality player not getting his chance at city.Really think we need an attacking midfielder to play in the hole though.
Aquilani? Although he would only be suited for this type of.game, and probably not worth his weight throughout the season if fit. A young Benayoun? At the top of my head, I can't think of anybody that fits the bill for the 'hole' position. Maybe we won't need to fill this position when Stevie gets back. I'd be reluctant too play him too much right in the centre, just for his own sake
Can't see much happening myself, players cost far to much in the Jan window. Would love the already mentioned Johnson or Bent who has a great habit of finding the net wherever he has been but we would be talking mad money for him. TBH Stevie back fit and ill be happy, like a new signing.
Right winger although they are like hens teeth. Henderson is not the answer and Kuyt is not as good in 442 as he is in 4231. Can't really think of anyone even among the top international sides.
People keep going on about Hazard for the right wing but i assume he won't leave Lille till the summer,will cost a fortune and we need CL to have any chance of getting him.
Aqualini...god no, had he chance to prove himself ,failed as him & the treatment table became very close friends, the only recent former player i'd take back would be Alonso, left far too soon, i'd welcome him back in a heartbeat.
I found it strange that Pacheco didn't get more of a run in this position, but 3 managers have worked with him a lot, so who am I to argue. Strangely enough, over the last 5/6 years, we always had somebody for this position. We were blessed tbh, as there are many of these players out there, but few of the quality we had. This season and last, we had no real option.
Hi, While I'm far from convinced we'll be splashing about the cash to any great degree in January and feel that there will be limited options, with the players who can be bought going for way too much money (even in the current overpriced environment) ... I feel we need: * A top striker and proven finisher * A fast and accurate winger for the right hand side * Perhaps another established & proven, strong attacking CM (for fear we need to start thinking about a long term replacement for Stevie) * A proven and experienced CB Lets call a spade a spade here everyone.... LFC has begun what is really a 5-year project, to get back to winning titles. We've all probably expected too much, too soon (myself included). I just hope Mr. Henry is willing to spend a lot more cash over the next year or two, to help ensure we get back to where we really should be ... Oh yea, and he pays for the new stadium or preferably, the redevelopment of Anfield too please

Higuain would be a great addition and with Real's bizarre selection policy he may be on offer...haven't watched much LaLiga this season..is he getting his game?
As far as I know I don't think he is and with Neymar looking like hes going to Madrid, Higuain might become available. Everytime Iv seen him play hes scored and he looks really composed in front of goal.
He has started today's game lads against Osasuna and there isn't a hope in hell of signing him without being in the Champions League.Darren Bent would be a more realistic option.Having said that I don't think we will do much business if any in January.
This morning in some newspapers are sayin Adam Johnson is set to sign a new 5yr contract at citey, so thats him ruled out, i think if we get 2 new new signings in Jan it'll be the lot. We do need a more potent striker & a winger, come Jan time it is also critical we are still in the running for 4th spot to attract any potenial signing, which we will be.
