Cant see beyond a Reds win. It's a must for all concerned. No slip ups and I can see us overpowering Swansea handy enough.
Hope to see a run of games with Agger and Skrtel partnership so as we can have a proper look at them playing along side each other few games coming up will give a good indication of the potential . But expect Kenny to put Cara straigh back in when fit. Swansea have been playing decent football so taking nothing for granted .
Swansea play some nice football but I'm still haven't seen there defence being tested as yet so hopefully with the same starting line 11 as we had against west brom that should give them a tough test. I can see that Suarez and Carroll can do some damage here
Liverpool win and more goals from Luis and Carroll would be perfect and a clean sheet going into the International break.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2011/oct/31/premier-league-chalkboard-analyis Some interesting stats in that link, particularly that Swansea's 2 centre midfielders only misplaced 1 pass between them and Britton made more passes with misplacing one than anyone else in the last 6 seasons. It goes with saying that we'll need to get in their faces and unsettle them from the 1st whistle. To do this we need to start without Carra again imo. I think we'll do them quite handy with our biggest win of the season so far. Same 11 for me.
With Newcastle & spuds having potential banana skins, 3points is a must here, a comfortable 2/3-0 victory aswell also would go down a treat.
I tend to disagree with this, you wouldn't really use your centre backs to get in the oppositions faces. That game plan starts from your forwards putting pressure on the defence and never giving them a chance to play the ball out from the back resulting in them trying long ball tactics. I, personally, don't see any benefit from playing Skrtel over carragher at all.
same 11 as aganist west brom and hopefully get suarez and carroll on the score sheet before international break and a clean sheet would be nice to
3 points. Anything after that is a bonus. The last thing we want is to go into the international break having dropped points at home to Swansea, especially with the two games coming up after. I'd start Bellamy on one of the wings. He deserves to start imo. We've lacked a goal threat from the wide areas and I think Craig provides that.
I'll be back at home this weekend rather than up in Belfast so streaming is always a real struggle. Might rather 5 live it of its on
Must win game with 3 massive games coming up after it, chelsea in the PL and Cup followed by Man City!
we will win..shots on target/goals scored is starting to look a little better and can see it improve in this game..as one of the lads says though we need to be in their face from kick off and not let them settle on the ball
Disagree , as Swansea area very good side when giving room and time to pass the ball , we need to get close starting from our front line and break their rhythm and see how they react. Personally I hope it's Agger and Skrtel as with the ball we are pushing the defensive line higher up the pitch and even though last week we were as deep when defending we were quicker to the tackle IMO and our passing out of defence was more confident from Agger and Skrtel and seemed to be kept on the deck more , which was pushing more support from back to mid to front. I'd like to see a settled back 4 Glen...Skrtel...Agger...Enrquie and then judge the Skrtel and Agger partnership If Agger can stay fit ? not worried about Glen as Kelly is as good
