Today is the day my 14th month old son realised what his kit meant, seen it on the telly and ran a muck when he realized it was the same as his...............Proud Dad here!
Its a great feeling Shay. One less united fan in the world. My 6 year old nearly got me murdered last year,United and Chelsea on the tv,we were out for pub grub and he shouts over to me at the bar"Its alright Dad its only scum versus scum on the telly"
Yeah me and my uncle's were the same, blonde for a few years then turned dark although mine is throwing out a few grey ones now haha
Haha Made me think about the first jersey that meant the most to me, for me it was my first candy jersey with the flecks of white. Think I was 9 when I got it but seein digger with the same one had me obsessed
I had the same one as my first kit, i wore the living sh1te out of it, my ma used to be giving out to me for waering it and its manky as soon as she washed it it was back on again
Making me feel Old , I can remember as a 6 yr walking into the local shop with the full crown paints Kit shorts sock, boots n all (nearly killed myself walking on the slippy floor with football boots ) all which I got for my birthday and would not take off , the shopkeepeer askin me if i had a match me replyin no Just going to watch Liverpool on the telly later
Lovely stuff, get them in early. Little one next door (whos 4) had the opposite effect on her dad. He's a manc (not a bad sort otherwise admittedly ), and is obviously trying to train his daughter to the dark side. Shes not having any of it, whether through superior intellect or just wanting to watch daddys reaction, shes started now if hes watching a utd game on the box she'll sit with him and when utd score start cheering "C'mon Liverpool" I can claim no responsibility for her realisation on how best to make daddy make gurgling strangling noises.....honest.
