19....the magic number for Manchester United fans?....Yes, that's how many years it took them, from the season that started in 1992, which was their first league title winning side in 26 years, until 2011...19 long years to achieve their Liverpool obsessed race to their magical number 19....They got there,eventually, and fair play to them, but they may enjoy it will they can as their place at the top will be short lived!* Lverpool Football Club are not obsessed with other clubs achievements or any numbers like 19, 20, 25 or even 30.....Liverpool Fooball Club just want to keep on winning and winning more and more adding title after title leading from the front, simply, to be the best and continue setting records for the rest to follow and be obsessed by, as they always have been down through the years....Liverpool Football Club ARE, most definitely, on the road back to the top ,where they belong, and the rest will soon have to look on in awe again as the Red Machine marches on to further and greater glories, and one thing's for sure....it certainly won't take anywhere near 19 years to get back there! Technically we were on top until the equalled and then surpassed our 18 titles. So we have only been off the top so to speak for 2 years.
They only won their 19th title in May so have only been "on top" for less than 6 months AND are only ahead of us by 1 title. They had to win the league 12 times in that 19 year period to surpass us.....there is no way we will have to do anything anywhere near that to get back where we belong
The city owners will get bored sooner or later and sell up the problem then is they wont be able to afford all those silly wages there payin , 3 or 4 years id say and they will be gone
Dunno if it will be a case of getting "bored" the big test will be when the finacial fair play rules come into effect.............
